easyJet has announced the construction of a new maintenance hangar at London Gatwick Airport, set to open in 2025. The facility will be the airline’s first purpose-built hangar at the airport and is designed to support its growing fleet.

The 14,000-square-meter hangar will enable easyJet to conduct line and light base maintenance on up to two aircraft simultaneously. The investment is expected to create up to 100 new jobs, including engineering and support roles.
