Job Description
At Trailer Construction & Repairing (TCR) in Schiphol Zuidoost, we work every day to improve and maintain Ground Support Equipment (GSE). GSE is used around the aircraft at Schiphol to facilitate loading and unloading, boarding, and keeping the aircraft cool. Our workshop maintains these moving vehicles, which are then rented out to large customers at Schiphol. We are currently seeking skilled mechanics to join our team. Initially, a one-year fixed-term employment contract, with potential for conversion to permanent based on satisfactory performance.
- Work hours are from 07:00 to 15:30
- Entitlement to 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days with a full-time contract
- Reimbursement of travel expenses based on the distance between home and work

- Perform routine maintenance and repair of GSE equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with GSE to ensure proper functionality.
- You ensure that all vehicles in our workshop are preventively maintained
- You have an eye for (non-routine) technical malfunctions and know how to solve them
- You can make suggestions on how we can do things differently and better
- Previous experience working with Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
- Knowledge of aviation industry standards and regulations.
- You know electrical and hydraulic diagrams and have experience with them
- You want to take courses so that you can become more versatile
- You have a driving license B
- Knowledge of diesel engines is an advantage
- Knowledge of HV systems is an advantage
- You are of good conduct, so that you can easily obtain a VGB screening, You can only start once your screening has been completed
