We have an exciting role as a Service Technician within our Dutch office, available for an enthusiastic and motivated trade-qualified mechanic keen to join a supportive and collaborative team on a full-time basis. The position involves utilizing technical skills and experience as a tradesperson to repair and maintain ground support equipment, aircraft jacks, and other airport-related equipment at the airport of Schiphol. Safety within the company and on the platform always comes first. The workplace contains 5 units responsible for different types of equipment, with the goal of becoming an all-round service technician who can independently fulfill tasks and contribute to maintaining service level agreements with customers. The role offers a variety of challenges as Schiphol operates on a 24/7 schedule, bringing new experiences daily.

Security check:

Position Requirements:

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate in motor vehicle technology, commercial vehicle technology or agricultural
  • mechanization technology
  • You must hold an current driver’s license
  • Experience in diesel engines and electrical fault finding preferred
  • Experience in Hydraulics would be an advantage
  • Experience in GSE would be an advantage
  • Good verbal skills in English when your Dutch is not that good
  • Willingness to undertake a background check with the Koninklijke Marachausse, VGB is mandatory in order to work
  • at Schiphol Airport & TCR Netherlands.
  • Willingness to follow mandatory safety training for Schiphol Airport ground control
  • Willingness to take a driver’s exam for driving on the platform
  • Willingness to get your VCA certificate & forklift
