Your main responsibilities:

An F16 Avionics Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of avionics systems aboard the F16 fighter aircraft. Avionics Technicians work with a variety of electronic equipment, communication systems, radars, navigation systems and other critical avionics components to ensure the aircraft's smooth operation.

Main responsibilities:

1.         Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose electronic and avionics problems using specialized test tools and troubleshooting procedures.

2.         Repair and maintenance: Perform repairs, adjustments and replacements on defective avionics components. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.

3.         Installation: Install new, existing or repaired avionics equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.

4.         Systems Upgrade: Participate in modernization programs by upgrading existing avionics systems to meet current standards.

5.         Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, tests carried out and parts used. Ensure compliance with regulations and internal procedures.

6.         Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the maintenance team to ensure aircraft operational readiness.

 

Your profile

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional training or degree in avionics, aeronautical electronics or related field.
  • Practical experience in avionics maintenance, preferably on fighter aircraft such as the F16.
  • In-depth knowledge of avionics systems, communication protocols and safety standards.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Accurate, careful and methodical
  • Basic knowledge of English
