TCR Netherlands is seeking a skilled Ground Support Equipment Technician to join our dynamic mechanic team at Schiphol Airport. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to ensure smooth airport operations and safety standards are met.

We are looking for an enthusiastic new colleague who wants to join our mechanic team! At TCR we work with so-called Ground Support Equipment (GSE). This is a collective name used for all technical rolling stock used around aircraft. TCR rents this material, and also takes care of the maintenance, in our own workshop at Schiphol-Zuidoost.
At TCR Netherlands we have 5 units, within these 5 units you work in a team that consists of a Team Leader, Junior Team Leader and other technicians. You will also work together with our work planners and Workshop manager. If you can be deployed all-round, there is also the option to perform emergency services. At Schiphol, work continues 24 hours a day!

Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues on GSE vehicles and equipment

Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on GSE equipment as needed

Conduct routine preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities

You perform preventive maintenance and carry out inspections on machines and vehicles

You solve malfunctions and make repairs to machines and vehicles

You recognize and analyze (non-routine) technical malfunctions

Certification in GSE maintenance or equivalent field

Experience working with hydraulics systems in GSE equipment

You have completed an MBO 3/4 course in motor vehicle technology, commercial vehicle technology, BAT/EBAT or comparable training

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

You have some experience in a position as a commercial vehicle or car mechanic or have other relevant work experience

You are in possession of your driving license B

Knowledge of HV systems is an advantage

You are of impeccable behavior, so you can request a VGB screening without any problems. You cannot start until your screening has been completed
