Very modern school, strong emphasis on sustainability (electric flight), digital learning, modular ATPL, etc. They’ve built up an electric fleet (Pipistrel Velis Electro etc.), solar panels & battery storage. Training from scratch to CPL and Instructor.
- Founded in 2021, E-Flight Academy is notable for being the first flight school in the Netherlands to push seriously into electric flight and sustainability in training.
- They have built a modern hangar facility called E-Deck at Teuge Airport, which includes solar panels, battery storage etc. They try to power their operations (and some flying) via solar energy.
- They fly electric aircraft (Pipistrel Velis Electro) for many of their training hours, though longer mandatory cross-country or multi-engine or certain components still require conventional power-aircraft.
- They emphasize transparency (costs, scheduling), no waiting lists, flexible scheduling, modern learning tools (simulator, digital briefing etc.).
