Flyguppdraget was founded in 1989, we were the two companions who thought it was a brilliant idea to start a business with the school aviation and aerial work, in addition to our regular jobs. One of the drivers from the start was to provide a good education with a clear focus on quality.

Lund University School of Aviation (LUSA) is one of few universities with higher education in aviation. Lund University School of Aviation has an outspoken ambition to be a centre for flight and flight related training- through research and development.

Established in 1939, the flying club operates its own airport on a good-will basis. As of April 2009, the club had approximately 110 members whereby 80 are flying actively. The club offers training towards the Private Pilot License (PPL).
